only be as strong as the families within them.
In order to change a community
we must first focus on the family.
For the past three years the Repairer of the
Breach Ministries has been doing just that. We've started a
shelter that allows displaced families to remain as one unit
during their temporary homeless state. There is a men's
mentorship program that is responsible for transforming countless
men's lives through a services that rebuild hope and reshapes
their honor and morals. This
ministry also holds an outreach every Friday night for our youth
giving community youngsters an alterative to the streets.
Repairer of the Breach Ministries has become a spiritual hub for
the hurting residents of New City in
Chicago and its surrounding communities. Through
it’s counseling program we build lives with testimonies of
reconciliation to God our Father and forgiveness
The New Initiative Business
Incubator Program, allow new businesses to be housed,
provided on-going support and resources until these businesses are
self sustaining. This
new program has sparked optimism in the hopeless, a true
rebirthing of dreams for the down trodden speaking of a day of
owning there own business. Young
single mothers see the light at the end of the tunnel giving new
hope of getting off public assistance and becoming gainfully
employed through the work and skills of their own hands.
Indicative of the name New City, we see New Hope, Repairer of the
Breach’s innovative concept of ministry focuses on the family
through holistic outreach and innovative programs.
Our plan includes renovating space to add Alpha
Omega School of the Arts for at risk teenagers. Leading
in concept, combining Art and Therapeutic counseling, students not
only learn basic literacy skill, but they will gain experience in
Recording Music, (state of the arts pro-tools recording studio on
campus) Theater, Writing, Art which would include Graphic Design.
This school is unique in that all of its majors have businesses
that employ students, giving the underserved, at risk population
of people job training, while gaining a high school diploma. This
school will also provide a quality after school music program for
grade school children.
