When a wise man asked Jesus,  "What is the greatest of God's commandments?" Christ replied.  "Love God with all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself "(Matthew 22:37-39).  He then added, "All of God's Laws were built on these two commandments." - (Matthew 22:40)

The Repairer of The Breach Ministry's main goal is to provide a spiritual, educational, economic, and social ministry in the New City Community of Chicago.  The Repairer of the Breach Ministry (ROBM) is a scripturally-based holistic ministry that is committed to the spiritual and emotional development of individuals and families.  Our major objective is to promote values which enhance human life and spiritual growth by providing opportunities for enrichment. education and healing.

ROBM seeks to: 

First provide for people's immediate educational and spiritual needs.  

Secondly, we work to enable them to provide for themselves through economic self-help programs. 

Thirdly, we seek to empower them to provide for the creation or continuation of their own community development and programs. 

Finally, we seek to equip them to continue to learn, grow, and serve in their own community by providing the services and resources needed to support a healthy and wholesome family structure.

The method and approaches used to accomplish the mission and turn the vision into reality involves four basic steps:

Step  1: Repair the Breach
Relief aid brought in to relieve immediate needs enables people to move to step2
- Spiritual Counseling and Training 
- Women's Outreach Program 
- Drug Abuse Outreach/Referral Program 
- Skills to become gainfully employed (Resume Writing Mentor Program) 

Step 2: Providing. for Today
Repair family ties - training discipleship and education with emphasis on commitment the poor. 
 Motivate successful businesses to share with others.
- Job Preparation/Interview Training Skills 
- Basic Computer Skills
- Child Support Enforcement

Step 3: Giving Back to the Community
Old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (2Cor. 5:17)  
Provide educational services which will enhance an individuals ability to seek employment, establish a business and continue his/her education.
- Health Seminars 
- Teen "Rap" Sessions
- Sports Events
- Teen Choir 
- Recreational Activities 
- Life Applications

Step 4: Provide for Tomorrow
Resource center funded by local business people/ trains motivates/recruits new personnel and encourages growth for the labor force.
- Conduct economical lectures and workshops 
- Job Shadowing
- Apprenticeships 
- Mentoring

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto thy own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths.  Proverbs 3:5-6
