Vision

Repairer of the Breach Ministries seeks to provide people with confidential counseling and spiritual growth, through prayer and studying the Word of God. Our primary focus is to enable people to provide for themselves through Economic Self-help Programs. By providing the resources and services needed to support a healthy family structure, we are equipping and encouraging the people to further their education and serve in their community.

Mission

Our goal is to provide a spiritual educational and economic ministry in the New City Community of Chicago. Repairer of the Breach is a scripture-based ministry that is committed to this mission, as well as the emotional development of individuals and their families through healing and deliverance. “As for this house”, our objective is to promote values which enhance their lives.

Why do we need an Adult Literacy Center
in our community?

Approximately 53% of the adult population in greater Chicago have low or limited literacy skills.

How do we intend to contribute to reducing the percentage of adult population that have limited literacy skills?

Provide a center with books and tools conducive to a learning environment
Provide a group of tutors equipped with the knowledge necessary for the learning process
Provide funds for transportation when appropriate
Provide a computer center for research for tutor and student
Provide administrative services to promote the success of our tutors
